We are seeking a smart, ambitious, and experienced media Account Director with a strong sense of curiosity and (ideally) international experience to head up a relationship with a top global advertiser. The Account Director is a critical client partner role demonstrating leadership, strategic direction, accountability, business acumen and vision for their portfolio of businesses.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Understand your clients’ business challenges
  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with your clients
  • Lead and maintain the senior relationship with your clients
  • Manage all aspects of the client business providing superior customer service
  • Maximise business opportunities with the promotion of growth of business with existing clients
  • Responsible for you and your team meeting business KPIs and the development of business plans
  • Lead and maintain all strategic channel planning activities associated with your accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with senior advertisers
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Manage, develop and guide a team of smart people
  • Mentor your team to maximise individuals’ growth and harness the strengths and opportunities of each team member
  • Mastering our internal software and processes

 

You’ll need to…

  • Have 10+ years’ industry experience
  • Have a solid media agency with multi-media planning or investment experience and / or media audit background
  • Have 3+ years’ experience as a Senior Account Director supporting international and / or domestic client requirements and managing a team
  • Have a passionate thirst for knowledge and belief that technology can make businesses run smarter
  • Demonstrate you can plan and strategize at a senior level
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of our clients’ organisations
  • Have a persuasive and confident approach to projects
  • Be a strong team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Have proven and effective team management capabilities
  • Act as a positive role model through example
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills, including great attention to detail
  • Think clearly under pressure and be willing to learn and grow with us
  • Be numerate, with the ability to analyse problems constructively
  • Have solid experience with MS Office (Particularly Excel ie. Pivot tables, V Look-ups)
  • Be fluent in English preferably with a second European language
  • Be eligible to live and work in the UK
